This past weekend I traveled to Toronto, Canada to compete in the number one music production competition in the world: Battle of the Beat Makers. I was one of a few from the United States and the only one from the state of Maryland. Many songs were made in preparation for this, but only three were debuted on stage. Unfortunately, I did not win. In fact, I didn’t make it through round one. But what a f***ing experience. Standing on stage, wearing the first Wambam Studios hoodie, doing a bad air guitar in front of 800+ faces, while 1,600+ ears listened… it was amazing. Afterward, I made Jimmy Lane and Matt D’Ambrosi perform live at an open mic in the heart of Toronto to a handful of listeners who were just waiting for their turn on stage. That’s another story for another time. Anyways, listen to the songs I created the week before I stepped on stage in the soundcloud link above and see the video of me on stage below. Enjoy.
